The Kampala Rolex festival named as the 4th edition has a day to go, the state minister for tourism Wildlife and antiquities Godfrey Kiwanda announced that the carnival will take place on Sunday in Kampala to promote Rolex as Uganda’s new tourism product during the carnival Launch. All kinds of people are welcomed and it will be held at Lugogo Cricket Oval on the 18th August 2019 from 9:00am to 6:00pm at entrance fee of shs5000 kids, shs10000 ordinary and shs30000 VIP.
During the launch on Tuesday evening Enid Mirembe the CEO of Rolex Initiative emphasized hygiene as one of the most important element to increase marketability of the snack.
Come and enjoy this delicious snack made by different street Rolex makers around town in Kampala city suburb and uptown restaurants. A rolex is made of a chapatti, eggs, onions, cooking oil, green pepper and carrots. Other recipes include chicken, beef, malewa (from Bagisu) and Eshabwe (from Ankole) and many more according to how someone wants it to taste. In Kampala Uganda a rolex costs from shs1500 on the streets and shs5000 plus in uptown restaurants and malls.
This Rolex festival is going to be combined with activities, entertainment, competitions on the best rolex stall and the best celebrity cookouts.
