The kenyan patient was described before as a patient who had just fever, headache and joint pains. The situation later worsened as she developed sore throat and the consistent vomiting.

The woman had previously treated for malaria in a smaller hospital but her condition was getting worse. She was then re tested for malaria and the results were negative. This suppressed the health workers minds and had to immediately refer her to Kericho County Referral Hospital, which has an isolation unit.
Later, the woman developed Diarrhea and some abnormal reflections that required immediate attention. It has however been confirmed that her condition is now improving and that there is nothing to worry about.
